Twin City Pumpkin Patches and Orchards!

Happy October Everyone!

A little fun fact about me, I love Halloween! I celebrate it every year with my husband, and often with my daughter who will still come home to hand out candy and to watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

As some of my neighbors can verify, I am usually dressed up as well. From a Hippie Chick to a skeleton, we get pretty creative with our costumes!

One of our favorite traditions to get ready for Halloween is to get a pumpkin to carve or decorate. If you're not one to try carving (or simply do not want to deal with the mess), try a little bling for your pumpkin out with some stick on designs. We have done this for a couple of years and it's a hit!

We also recommend going to an orchard to get some fresh apple cider, a caramel apple, or some pie making apples! Mallory, our assistant, has a great recipe I'm sure she'd be happy to share!

If you aren't sure where to go to get your pumpkin this year, we have a few ideas for you. Our favorite thing to do - Make it a day out! Whether it's a day with a few friends or bringing the kids out to enjoy a pretty Saturday, there are plenty of pumpkin patches and orchards in the Twin Cities Metro to go to!
