Flag Mason Jars

These are a favorite! It's a perfect DIY project for the weekend and you can do it outside and enjoy the sunshine! Mason jars are used in farmhouse style decoration all over and with good reason, they are extremely versatile! Use the mason jars as a flower vase, silverware holder, or as a candle holder.

Red, White, and Blue Flower Vases

If you don't want to take the time to paint anything this weekend, or simply don't have the time, try this colorful variation instead! Clear vases, food coloring, and some white flowers (real or fake!) are all you need! Click the link above to see the details!

Food Ideas

Watermelon on a Stick

This is such a simple, yet great idea! Keep your watermelon treat easy and clean by putting it on a stick for your guests or for the kids. Arrange on a platter or put in a vase for a fun display!

Red, White, and Blue Ice

Whether this is going into a glass of water or a vodka tonic, this is a cute way to brighten up everyone's beverage! Throw a few red and blue ice cubes in a clear beverage and you're set!

For the Kids

Spray on Yard Stars

It's going to be a gorgeous day on Monday and what a better way to be outside then having the kids have some fun with some paint and the grass! Use a stencil and some eco-friendly spray paint and let the kids decorate the yard in Red, White, and Blue!

Star Spangled Slime

We did this at our Red, White, and BOOM client appreciation event for the 4th of July and it was a huge hit with the kids! If they need a break from the sun, or just want to do something a little low key after running around, this should keep the little ones (and you!) entertained.
