Home for the Holidays

We hope you had the most wonderful time celebrating  Thanksgiving with your friends and family! We also hope you have found plenty to be grateful this month with our gratitude challenge!

Generally, we all start diving into really decorating and celebrating the holidays once we hit Thanksgiving. Trees go up, decorations make their way out of boxes, and of course, we almost always need to take a peak at what's new to add to our collection!

Here are some great places you can go in the Twin Cities to get your Christmas trees, real or artificial, and of course, all the holiday decorations your home can handle.

Get Your Real Tree

There really is nothing like the smell of a freshly cut pine in your home to get you in the holiday spirit. It is also such a fun experience to take the family out to pick out the perfect tree and bring it home!

Find Your Artificial Tree

We understand that a real tree is not right for every home! Whether you just aren't a fan of the maintenance, or you have a pet that loves to snack on those fresh trees, there's always plenty of options for a fake tree.

One of the other reasons we love these as an option is that you can reuse them for years and therefore could be a more economical option for you in the long term.

Many of the "Big Box" stores will be some of the best places to find your artificial trees. Especially from a price standpoint. Here are a couple of spots that you can find your tree that will last you through the years:

Menards - Did you know that Menards started in Wisconsin? Or neighbors brought this store to us and they always have a great selection of artificial trees and some fun lawn ornaments for your home. Find the nearest store to you here.

Home Depot - Another great stop to get your tree is this home improvement store. Don't forget to pick up any holiday lights, or household items you need while you're there... find your closet location here.

Target - Our Minnesota based company gets us every time we walk into the store. Not only will you find a tree, but you can decorate your entire home with all the goodies. Find your nearest store, here.

We never tire of shopping for holiday decor. We just can't help it! Everything is all cozy and comforting. Not to mention it helps brighten up your home through the cold winter months!

Here are some great stores that we always have fun shopping at for new holiday items.

Love From Minnesota - Mall of America & Ridgedale Center - This is another one that will make a great spot for gifts for all your MN friends and family! Think cozy Minnesota cabin in clothing, mugs, and household items. We love items that show off our home state.

There are plenty of pop up shopping areas that come up this time of year in the local malls as well! Even if you don't need anything, make your way to the malls, The Galleria is our favorite, to enjoy the gorgeous decorations and to see what stores are featuring.
